WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is behind bars after Wayne County investigators say he threatened to kill a Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force agent.

Deputies say Robert Parris, also known as "Happy," made a statement saying he would kill agent Wayne Conn "and the rest of those [expletive]."

This came after deputies say Conn obtained an arrest warrant on Parris for trafficking methamphetamine. Authorities have arrested Parris multiple times for drug trafficking violations in the past year.

Parris is currently in the Wayne County Detention Center facing charges of drug trafficking, terroristic threatening and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
