MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - Officials with Manchester Water Works in Clay County are asking the public to conserve water due to the water tanks being extremely low.
In a statement issued by the city, they say the recent drop in temperatures have caused water main breaks causing the supply of water in the department's water tanks to be "critically low." They ask that anyone that is leaving water running through the day to turn the water if possible.
Crews are actively trying to fix the breaks. If you're experiencing a water main break, call Manchester City Hall at 598-3456.
