MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- A man is dead following an early morning crash in Madison County.
The Madison County Coroner says 31-year-old Joshua Adams of Irvine was on his way to work when he crashed on Irvine Road near the Waco Community around 6 a.m.
Officials say the vehicle was found by another driver around 200 feet off the roadway. Officials believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.
Neighbors on the stretch of road say they have seen multiple accidents.
"It's a strange feeling when you walk down to look at the accident and see them remove the body from the vehicle. It's just an eerie feeling. It lets you know how quick your life could be taken away," says Kenny Stevens.
Officials say Adams crashed in Kenny Stevens yard, sadly a sight Stevens says is far too common.
"Even though we've got the largest stretch of I-75 through the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I would still consider Highway 52 and/or U.S. 25 in this county the two most deadly roads I have."
Officials say Adams leaves behind young children and wife.
