MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Northbound I-75 in Madison County is shut down at mile marker 85.

A Madison County deputy told WKYT a pickup rear-ended the semi. The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Drivers stuck in traffic say the backup goes all the way back to the 77-mile marker. They report seeing several crashes on the interstate.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says I-75 northbound reopened just after 8 a.m.
Further south, the Laurel County Fire Department says a semi crash has I-75 southbound shut down near the 24-mile marker.
