SAN DIEGO (AP) - A Navy special warfare official has confirmed that the only woman in the SEAL training pipeline has dropped out.
Naval special warfare spokesman, Lt. Cmdr. Mark Walton, told The Associated Press on Friday that the female midshipman voluntarily decided to not continue in a course this summer that's required of officers who want to be selected for SEAL training.
Walton says no other women are in the SEAL training pipeline at this time.
