Pike County native joining new season of "Survivor"

WKYT - A Pike County native is among the 20 contestants who will compete on the next season of CBS's "Survivor".

The Emmy award winning series will return for its 36th season, "Ghost Island" with a special two-hour premier on Wednesday February 28.

The 20 contestants will be divided into two teams of ten. Donathan Hurley, 26, a Caretaker from Phelps, Kentucky, will join the Malolo tribe and compete against the Naviti tribe.

Other castaways include a Cincinnati army veteran, a social media strategist, an emergency medical technician and a marine animal trainer.
