Passengers stuck on plane for nearly two hours after equipment issues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- Officials at Blue Grass Airport had to tow an Allegiant Airlines flight that had an equipment issue.

The plane traveling from Sanford, Florida landed in Lexington at 9:48 a.m. but did not reach the gate until 11:15 a.m. Passengers were on the flight as it taxied the runway. They were allowed to deboard at 11:30.

Airport officials told WKYT that the plane had a nose wheel got stuck in position. The plane landed without incident, but maintenance workers had to examine the problem.

Allegiant gave all of the passengers $50 vouchers towards a future flight because of the inconvenience.
