Police: Man covered in silver paint found passed out in running car

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A trip to a fast food restaurant ended with a man's arrest.

Shepherdsville Police arrested John Casey III, 46 of Nashville on Saturday.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated driver at McDonald's. When they arrived, they found a man passed out behind the wheel of a running car. Officer determined the driver, who they identified as Casey, was intoxicated.

Police charged Casey with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. 1st offense and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.

In his mugshot, Casey has a silver face. Shepherdsville Police say they aren't sure why he had paint on him, but several people told them the man was an entertainer who posed as a silver statue at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby.
