Police need help identifying suspects who cashed thousands in stolen checks

Nicholasville Police are trying to locate two women accused of passing stolen checks at three banks in Jessamine County.

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Detectives with the Nicholasville Police Department need the public's help identifying two women suspected of check theft.

Detectives said the suspects recently passed stolen checks at three banks in Nicholasville and Wilmore.

The Department said two women came through the Farmers Bank drive-thru at Bellchase branch, the Brannon Road branch and the Wilmore branch. Each time, they presented checks that were later determined to be stolen. The Department also said the suspects were able to cash checks and obtain thousands of dollars from the individual's account.

Police say the suspects are driving a newer model Ford Escape with tinted windows.
