18 students injured in Kentucky school bus crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Authorities are at the scene of a crash involving a Kentucky school bus and another vehicle.

Louisville CBS affiliate WLKY says at least 17 Jefferson County Public Schools students and two adults have suffered minor to moderate injuries as a result of the wreck.

The original report stated no one was expected to be taken to the hospital, but WLKY now reports the injured students will get checked out at a nearby hospital.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Blue Lick Road and White Oak Park Tuesday morning.

More than 40 students were on the bus at the time of the collision.
