Semi-truck bursts into flames on I-75 in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT)- A semi-truck caught fire Friday night in Georgetown.

It happened around 7 p.m. on Exit 129 off Interstate 75.

Scott County firefighters say the driver got out before the cab before it went up in flames.

They say the truck was hauling parts for Toyota but luckily the fire didn't reach the trailer and the parts were not damaged.

The driver was not injured.
