LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- Toys R Us is trying to recover from bankruptcy. The toy company is closing nearly 200 of its stores, including three in Kentucky.

Toys R Us is still trying to recover from bankruptcy. The company will shut down a fifth of its stores, and that includes one in Lexington. They are set to close 180 stores between early February and mid-April. USA Today reports the list includes the Babies R Us on Star Shoot Parkway.
The company is citing gaps in customer service during the holiday season for a slow in sales. They are pledging to improve the online and in-store shopping experience for customers.
