UK football assistants' salaries now top $3.4 million

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK football assistant coaches will make more than $3 million this upcoming season. The final numbers for Mark Stoops' staff were made public on Tuesday by the school.

New deals for Derrick Ansley and Andy Buh bring the total for the assistant coaching salaries to $3.48 million next year.

Ansley, recently promoted to co-defensive coordinator, will make $375,000 a season, a $100,000 increase from his previous deal. His new contract runs through June 30, 2019.

Buh, the outside linebackers coach, will make $325,000 a year.

UK also has hired Mark Hill as a new assistant strength and conditioning coach. Hill, who previously was at Indiana, will make $200,000 a year.
