GLASGOW, Ky. (WKYT) - The cause of death of a Kentucky woman found on the roof of a downtown Glasgow building has been classified as a drug overdose.
Preliminary findings from the autopsy of 30-year-old Krystal Mitchell indicate an overdose, but police don't know what drug was responsible as a toxicology screen hasn't yet been completed.
The Glasgow Police Department said in a release Monday that Mitchell wasn't a victim of a crime.
She was found partially clothed and without shoes April 17 on the roof of the Allstate building. Glasgow Police Chief Guy Howie estimated at the time that Mitchell had been dead for about 72 hours.
