Damien Harris, who on Wednesday announced he was returning for his final year at Alabama, said he loves his time in Tuscaloosa.
“I just wanted to come back,” Harris said Friday on the Paul Finebaum Show.
“There are a lot of people that I have a lot of love for. I love this coaching staff. I just really love being part of this team so that was the ultimate deciding factor, I guess you could say, with me coming back. I just really want to be a part of this team for one more year.”
Harris ran for 1,000 yards this past season. He rushed for 1,040 yards his sophomore year in 2016.
Harris ranked 7th nationally with an average of 7.4 yards per carry.
Tide tailback Bo Scarbrough announced this week he was bypassing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
