LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Former Clay County boys basketball coach Bobby Keith is hospitalized due to issues from an undisclosed illness.
His daughter posted on Facebook that the legendary coach is in critical condition at a hospital in Lexington.
He's had health issues the last several months.
Keith spent 29 seasons on the sideline as head coach of the Clay County Tigers, retiring with a record of 767-125. His 767 wins ranks fifth on Kentucky's all-time list.
He led the Tigers to 14 13th region championships. He also guided the program to three Sweet 16 championship games, winning the state title in 1987.
