New Lexington high school names Brian Landis as first head coach

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington's newest high school named its first head football coach on Monday.

Brian Landis, who served as a quality control assistant at UK last season, will coach the Douglass Stallions.

Landis previously was an assistant coach at EKU and Georgetown College.

Frederick Douglass High School announced its mascot will be the Stallions and its color scheme will be green and orange.
