Report: John Wall agrees to $170 million extension with Wizards

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - John Wall is staying in Washington through the 2022-2023 season after agreeing to a $170 million dollar extension. The deal begins in 2019 after Wall's existing five-year deal expires.

The report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski says Wall's extension includes a fouth-year player option and a 15 percent trade kicker.

Wall was the No. 1 overall pick by the Washington Wizards in 2010 NBA Draft. Last season Wall averaged 23.1 points, 10.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.
