I would have to say my hero is my husband Johnny. He is a firefighter full-time but he is also on 2 volunteer fire departments. When he is not at work he is working with local schools to help educate our youth in our community about fire safey. He does not think that he is doing anything special but my eight yeard old daughter would have to disagree. Her daddy is her hero. He helps with the fire departments local toy drive every christmas to give toys to needy kids in the community. He has been involved with the fire service for 14 years since he was 18 years old, all he has ever wanted to do is to help take care of the public.

My hero would have to be my mom.She owns her own cleaning company Two Ladies And A Bucket inc. Also works from 7am-11pm.She has given so much to the community by helping Shriners in Lexington,Toys for Tot's at Christmas,Shop with the cop, so much more. She puts alot of hard effort in her customers as well she has raised six girls and six grandkids. She's the one that has stoped when ones was in bad car accidents when no one eles did and stayed intell help arrived. She helps any one from faimily to customers, kids as well any one she do'nt know. She's lost both of her parents. And has been a parent to any one.She is in not to good of health she needs knee, foot, back, hand surgery. She has emphysema, lung disease. But is one hard working mom who puts all her health to the side and goes right on to her priorites of life.I think she would deserve to be the hero of the year cause of all she does.I love you mom always even threw bad times we have had ,good times.Love Michelle McKenzie and Matthew,Cody
