WYMT-TV is looking for a passionate journalist to produce our new weekend newscasts.

We are looking for someone with a great work ethic and excellent people skills. This job is not for a show stacker. Qualified candidates must write journalistically sound copy, have a positive attitude and perform multiple tasks efficiently and quickly.

This is a great opportunity for a young producer that dreams of becoming an on-air reporter. Successful candidates will either report two to three days a week or produce other newscasts depending on their qualifications.

You must also understand and embrace the importance of the new multi-platform newsroom. The successful applicant understands the web and social media provides a unique way to reach people on the go.

We work hard but have fun too! WYMT has a proven record of turning out solid journalists capable of moving up in the ranks. ESPN`s Jay Crawford started his career with WYMT. Several anchors and Producers have moved on to Top 40 Markets in the last couple of years.
