Job Title: Online Content Producer

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Experience: 2+ years web design and maintenance.

WKYT is looking for a dynamic online content producer. This person will need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to edit and publish news stories, produce graphics / content for the sales department and oversee the day to day operations of the web site. This person will need to have excellent phone and email communication skills. Be able to work in a team environment with knowledge in working with MS Word, MS Excel, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and content management systems.

Responsibilities: Daily interaction with TV station staff to coordinate publishing of stories, videos and sales content. Use Web-based content management system to publish content on the web site. Support and assist station special projects related with any news content, promotions, and sales. Conduct content management training to new TV station staff when necessary.

Skills:
-Fluency and ability to edit and publish news stories.
-Proficiency in HTML a plus.
-Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Dreamweaver, Photoshop/ImageReady, Illustrator, Flash; InDesign a plus.
-Ability to translate stories from various TV newsroom computer systems.
-Knowledge in: web usability, navigation, and accessibility concepts; user interface design; information architecture; web design, color, and typology principles.
-Knowledge of content management systems.
-Knowledge of multimedia/video applications.
