A Dollywood Recipe
¼ cup applesauce
¾ cup honey mustard
6 to 8 pieces of chicken, skin on
salt and pepper
Dust chicken with salt and pepper and bake in a 350 deg oven about 40 minutes or until lightly brown. Mix Applesauce and honey mustard and baste chicken. Return to the oven and bake until the chicken is brown and tests done. If you have an instant read thermometer, the chicken should reach a serving temperature of 165 deg. If you wish, you may add apple cider to the glaze to further enhance flavor.
