A Betty DeNio recipe
1 box of your favorite cake mix (this will work with any of them)
Ingredients called for on package to mix plus one egg
1 pkg instant pudding mix (again, any flavor will work. Match with cake
Your favorite flavor of commercial icing
Mix the cake according to package directions adding the extra egg. Blend in the pudding mix. Pour into a tube pan or a bundt pan which you have sprayed with baking spray or lightly greased and floured. Bake according to package directions. Allow to cool for a few minutes and turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. I would suggest that you could give the cake a nice finished look by heating about ½ container of commercial icing until it is of drizzling constancy and drizzle it over the cake. This can be done with the cake still on the rack which you place over a sheet of parchment paper.
