Honey Lime Dip for Fresh Fruit Thursday, February 17, 2011


½ cup honey
¼ cup lime juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg


Mix honey, lime juice and egg thoroughly and place over low heat and stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Allow to cool. Add sour cream, salt and nutmeg. Mix completely and chill until ready to serve. Place in a dipping bowl surrounded by fresh pineapple, strawberries, banana chunks, apple slices or your favorite fruit or melon.
