1 10 oz pkg frozen green lima beans
1 16 oz pkg frozen white whole kernel corn
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP all purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 ¼ cups milk


Cook lima beans according to pkg directions, drain and set aside. Pulse corn in a food processor 8 or 10 times until it is coarsely chopped. Set aside. In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook, stirring constantly about 1 minute. Stir in sugar, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk and stir until smooth. Stir in corn and cook, stirring often until corn is tender and mixture is thickened. Stir in lima beans. This is nice garnished with crumbled bacon if you wish.
