Fruit and Veggie Salad Thursday, June 23, 2011
Ingredients
1 cup each, diced red and green apples
1 cup each, chopped broccoli and celery
¼ cup each, finely chopped onion and slivered almonds
½ cup raisins
¼ cup sugar (or Splenda)
1 TBSP white vinegar
1 cup mayonnaise (fat free mayo works nicely)
Directions
Mix sugar, vinegar and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Place remaining ingredients except almonds in a large bowl and toss with dressing. Cover and chill for several hours or overnight. Sprinkle almonds on top and serve.
