3 cups self rising flour
1 ½ to 1 ¾ cups milk
1/3 cup cooking oil
1 cup chopped country ham, cooked
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
Mix flour, milk and cooking oil to make a batter that will just hold its shape. Stir in cheese and country ham. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 deg until brown (about 12 to 15 minutes). These are great for a brunch table.
