Ingredients

2 Racks of ribs
1 Bottle of Favorite BBQ Sauce

For Rub:
¼ cup brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. kosher or coarse sea salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne red pepper.
1 Tbsp. BKW Seasoning

Directions

Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum foil big enough to enclose each portion of ribs. Mix up rub in a bowl. Remove membrane from bottom of ribs, and then apply rub liberally to each rack of ribs. Wrap tightly with foil and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight. Preheat oven to 300 deg. Bake ribs wrapped tightly in the foil at 300 deg for 2 1/2 hours. Remove from foil and brush with sauce, if desired. If you decide to add sauce unwrap ribs and place them on a metal cookie sheet and brush liberally with your sauce of choice. (You will need to support the ribs with a knife or other long utensil while moving them because they will quite possibly fall off the bone if you aren’t careful.) Then place them back in the oven at 500 degrees for 5 minutes. This is just enough time for the sauce to caramelize, but not enough for it to burn. Be sure and pay attention to the time as they will burn quickly after the 5 minute mark. You can also finish on a grill if you wish at medium heat for 5 minutes per side.
