Fruit and Veggie Salad Thursday, February 18, 2010


1 cup each diced red and green apples
1 cup each chopped broccoli and celery
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup sugar
1 TBSP white vinegar
1 cup fat free mayonnaise


In a small bowl, mix sugar, vinegar and mayonnaise. Place remaining ingredients, except almonds, into a large bowl and mix lightly. Drizzle dressing over and toss to mix. Cover and chill for several hours before serving. Overnight will work. When ready to serve sprinkle with almonds.
