Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 pkg yeast
1 TBSP sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 TBSP butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
2 cups plain flour
Directions
Warm milk (about 105 deg) and stir in yeast, sugar and salt. Allow to sit about 5 minutes or until it starts to bubble. Stir in butter, egg and flour. Turn into a well greased 8 or 9 inch cake pan or skilled. Allow to rise in a warm place until it is doubled in bulk (about 30 minutes). Bake in a preheated 350 deg oven about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with butter. It is perfect with the Irish stew.
