2 8 or 9 inch yellow cake layers (prepare from a good yellow cake mix
1 can vanilla ready to use icing
1 cup sour cream
1 12 oz pkg frozen grated coconut, thawed
Slice cake layers crosswise to form four layers. Mix all remaining ingredients. Place the bottom half of one layer on plate, cut side up. Spread with ¼ of the coconut mixture. Repeat, ending with coconut layer. Wrap with saran wrap and chill overnight before serving.
