Ingredients

1 cup each, self-rising cornmeal and flour
1 pkg yeast
1 TBSP sugar
½ tsp soda
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup corn oil
1 ½ cup buttermilk

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together. Beat together eggs, oil and buttermilk. Stir into the dry ingredients just to mix. Fill greased muffin cups about 2/3 full. Bake in a preheated 350 deg oven about 12 to 15 minutes.
