Spicy Peanut Raisin Pie Friday, April 9, 2010

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
¼ cup butter, melted
½ cup raisins
1 cup chopped roasted peanuts
1 TBSP white vinegar
1 tsp ginger (or cloves, or nutmeg, or cinnamon to your taste)
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shell

Directions

Beat eggs. Add sugar, syrup and melted butter. Mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 deg about 40 minutes or until set in the center. Allow to cool before cutting.
