Cheese and Bologna Spread Friday, October 5, 2012

Ingredients

1/3 cup mayonnaise
½ cup chili sauce
1 lb bologna, ground
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup onion, chopped fine
½ cup stuffed olives, chopped fine

Directions

In a small bowl, blend the chili sauce, mayo, onion, and olives. In a larger bowl, mix the cheese and ground bologna thoroughly. Stir in chili sauce mixture into completely blended. Add additional mayo if needed to reach the desired consistency. Serve with saltine crackers.

Note: This mixture is very nice if you split a nice soft roll and fill with the bologna mixture. Close, wrap in foil and bake in a 400 deg over about 10 minutes. For a tailgating party, place the packets, still wrapped in the foil in a lined basked (or thermos bag) and take along. Unwrap when ready to serve.
