Rich Hot Chocolate December 15, 2012
A Gaylord Opryland Resort recipe
2 1/2 cups milk
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 cups eggnog
1 tsp vanilla
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate chips in milk. Remove from heat and let stand for a couple of minutes. Whisk until the chocolate is melted and is smooth. Stir in the eggnog and heat gently over low heat until very warm but NOT BOILING. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour into mugs to serve. You may want to add a dollop of whipped cream and a cinnamon stick as garnish.
