First made in 1992

2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
1 8 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)
1 16 oz can pork and beans (drained
1 cup walnuts or pecans


Grease and flour a Bundt pan or a tube pan. With a heavy mixer, beat the pork and beans until completely mashed. Add all remaining ingredients except nuts and beat together thoroughly. Beat in nuts. Turn into the Bundt pan and bake in a preheated 350 deg oven about 45 minutes or until the cake tests done. Allow to cool about 15 minutes before turning out.
