How is "dew point" determined?

Dew point simply means the measurement of humidity, the amount of water vapor in the air. Typically we only hear about it a lot during the spring and summer months. Here is a way to think of dew point and how humid it is outside. When you hear TG talk about the dew point in the 40s and 50s that means low humidity; dew points in the low sixties mean moderate humidity and anything above that means it's going to be one of those muggy oppressive days out there. The dew point temperature is the temperature where the air is completely saturated.
