What ever happend to the coal miner that survived in the Sago Mine in January of 2006?

We actually haven't heard much from Randall McCloy since being released from the hospital in March of 2006. He was trapped for 40 hours inside the Sago Mine in January of that year. The now 29-year old spent three months in the hospital after being trapped for days inside the mine in West Virginia.

In a 2006 interview with the Associated Press McCloy said he was never going back underground again. He said in time he would like to attend vocational school, maybe study electronics. For now, we assume he is back home in West Virginia with his wife, Anna. In fact, the governor renamed the road McCloy lives on to Miracle Road, fitting for a man who survived an ordeal that killed twelve fellow miners.
