Can an officer with Kentucky Fish & Wildlife make a traffic stop violation in a town setting?

Often times we only think of Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Officers in this
setting: earlier this year wildlife officers made several arrests in
connection with buying and selling coyotes and using them as bait. Their primary focus is on enforcing hunting and fishing laws in the state.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officers are by law full peace officers. The
department tells 27 NEWSFIRST their officers have the same training as
police officers and make traffic stops, issue tickets even make arrests.

Wildlife officers are funded through the sportsman's fees, fishing and
hunting licenses.
