Why are teachers are not included with health care workers when it comes to getting the H1N1 vaccine?

It is true school teachers, staff and daycare workers are exposed daily to children and the possibility of getting the flu. Health officials stress, however, it appears those groups are not as likely to become ill enough to require hospitalization or develop other serious complications from the virus as other targeted groups, like pregnant women and children with chronic conditions.

Health officials urge everyone to get a flu shot as well as the H1N1 vaccine, but they just want to make sure those people who need to get vaccinated first do so, those who are at most risk of having complications from the virus.
