At one time or another we've all dreaded Monday morning rolling around, but it seems if you were feeling down a little today, there may be a reason.
Good Question: What is Blue Monday?
Christmas has come and gone, the long winter has set in and you may be feeling a little blue.
One researcher says January 17th is the day to feel the bluest.
The day was declared the saddest day of the year by one British psychologist.
In 2005, Cliff Arnall came up with the first Blue Monday.
His formula is said to calculate the most depressing day on the calendar.
The timing of "Blue Monday" is based on several factors including the weather, unpaid holiday bills, and failed New Year's resolutions.
Put all of those together and Arnall says you'll get one bad day, in fact since 2005 many of the dates tend to fall in mid to late January.
Not everyone says Arnall's formula works out.
In fact, many are skeptical calling it bad science.
In case you are wondering, that same equation according to Arnall says June 17th will be the happiest day of the year.
