Good Question: What is behind the prediction for the end of the world this Saturday?

Billboards across the country are warning of an impending Judgment Day.

There have been dozens of failed end of the world predictions, the latest claims it will happen Saturday.

Good Question: What is behind the prediction for the end of the world this Saturday?

Movies have depicted it, now billboards like one in Louisville warn the end is really near.

So what would you do if your days were numbered?

Some say they would go to the beach, the mountains or party it up with all their friends and family.

The billboards, paid for by California based Family Stations Incorporated claim Saturday is Judgment Day and that its guaranteed by the Bible.

"You and I are living at the time of the end of the world," said Harold Camping, President of Family Stations.

Camping says his 70 year study of the Bible leads him to believe God will destroy the earth Saturday, May 21st 2011.

"There's going to be a big earthquake that will make the one in Japan seem like a Sunday school picnic," said Camping.

Believe what you want, one Atheist group calls it bogus and put up its own billboards denouncing the prediction.

Louisville Pastor, Walter Malone says the Bible does talk of a second coming, he worries this is a misrepresentation of the Bible and isn't buying it.

"As a Christian and as a pastor I would not put a credence or weight on anyone who is declaring to know the exact day and time Jesus Christ is returning," said Walter Malone, Pastor of Canaan Christian Church.

According to the Mayan calendar, the end of the earth will not be this Saturday instead it will come in 2012.
