To donate food or money you can drop off donations to God's Food Pantry at 1685 Jaggie Fox Way in Lexington. The food bank distributes donations to a network of 275 agencies including food pantries, shelters, after school programs and soup kitchens.
Since July God's Food Pantry says they have seen a record number of new clients seeking out help. In the last five months the food pantry has helped some 2000 people. The folks at God's Food Pantry says that a simple donation of $25 can help buy $250 worth of food for a family in need.
