Puppy Chow

12 oz. bag butterscotch chips
2 tbsp. peanut butter
#2 size can chow mien noodles
1 bag Cranberry Raisins
1 can unsalted Cashews
1 small bag pretzel thins

Melt 1st 2 ingredients in a double boiler. Pour over noodle mixture, toss with hands then place onto greased cookie sheet until dry. Break into pieces. Place into airtight container for storage. As gifts, first place in a plastic baggie, then a gift bag.

* I use disposable kitchen gloves when I toss this mix it can get messy. Don't be deceived by the name, this recipe is for humans, not dogs.

Bag, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Sandoz is conducting a voluntary nationwide recall to the hospital/user level of two lots of its Methotrexate Sodium, USP, 25 mg/mL, 40 mL vial injectable product in the US, due to the discovery of particulate matter in vials during routine quality examination of retention samples at the manufacturer.
