1 pound peeled and deveined 21/26 shrimp
¼ cup minced scapes (young garlic) or 4 cloves regular garlic minced
¼ cup extra virgin or good flavored olive oil
2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
2 tsp. smoked paprika
½ tsp. crushed red pepper
2 Tbsp. dry sherry
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup blanched broccoli flowers
1. Heat the olive oil gently.
2. Add the scapes and sauté just a couple of minutes. Add the smoked paprika and crushed red pepper.
3. Add the shrimp, when they have turned pink add the broccoli, then the sherry, lemon and parsley.
4. Taste and add a little salt.
5. Serve with crusty bread.
