Lillis Faye Tackett, 54, passed away December 6, 2011 at her home in Georgetown. She was born March 14, 1957 in Scott County, Kentucky to Charles “Macy” and Bernice Watson Tackett both of Georgetown. She was a member of Great Crossing Baptist Church, an Air Force Veteran, and was an employee at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Along with her parents she is survived by sons, Christopher Featherston of Roxboro, North Carolina and Scott Gattis of Missouri; brother and sisters, Chuck Tackett and Sue Sturgill both of Georgetown, and Brenda Trudell of Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Funeral services are 2 pm Friday, December 9, 2011 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Roach officiating. Burial is in Georgetown Cemetery with pallbearers being Dana Carr, Tim Carr, Mason Tackett, Nick Fox, Terry Tackett, Carl Mason Tackett, and Bradley Stewart.
