Portland, Oregon, 8/27/2010 – The Criminal HIV Transmission Media Research Project has compiled detailed profiles of over 100 people arrested for HIV related crimes. The project is the work of STD Carriers Disease Control and Prevention Services home of the International STD Carrier Registry Early Warning Alert System for Venereal Disease Control.----

The Criminal HIV Transmission Media Research Project officially began in the fall of 2009 after it became evident that HIV related criminal activity was on the rise all over the western world and that the International STD Carrier Registry would be the perfect tool for tracking AIDS criminals on the internet. Due to the sites search engine friendly design most criminal profiles show up on the first page of Google searches for relevant searches.

The list of Criminal HIV Transmission Exposure and Arrest Records are categorized as Sex Crimes, Prostitution, Biological Terrorism, and Non-Disclosure. Sex Crimes is reserved for charges that require sex offender registration upon conviction. Prostitution involves HIV positive people selling sexual favors for money. Biological Terrorism involved the use of HIV as a biological weapon. Non-Disclosure involves everyday people who make the mistake of failing to disclose their HIV status before having sex. Recently convicted German singer Nadja Benaissa has been a member of the latter for over a year.

STD Carriers is best known for it public user driven STD Carrier Registry that first made headlines in late 2008, several times in the summer of 2009, and again in March of this year. The STD Carrier Registry allows users to anonymously list people who they know to have incurable STDs for the purpose of warning others about dangers to their health and is still featured on CNN Videos as “Website ‘outs’ those with STDs”.
