WASHINGTON (AP) - House Republican efforts to repeal the health care reform law get rolling today as debate begins on the bill.
A vote is scheduled tomorrow and a handful of Democrats are expected to go along.
Republicans want to get the bill approved this week -- ahead of next week's state of the union speech.
The measure will be dead on arrival once it hits the Senate and Republicans this week also plan to approve a measure requiring that a trio of House committees come up with replacement healthcare legislation.
A recent AP-GfK poll shows only one in four Americans wants an outright repeal.
