Search underway for escaped inmate in Montgomery Co.

The Montgomery County Sheriff says Wesley Davis was in jail on multiple charges, including shooting someone in another state and stealing a car and an ATV in Mount Sterling.


Deputies arrested Charles Shores. He faces several charges including kidnapping and domestic violence.


Matthew Heimbach, founder of the "Traditionalist Worker Party," told multiple media outlets that he and other white supremacists are considering coming to Lexington to protest the removal of two Confederate statues.


The first happened at Tri City Auto on New Circle Road. The second happened at a home on Colchester Dr.
