Our winter storm is shattering records. 17.1" of snow fell in Lexington and that's the most ever recorded during a two day snowstorm. We've had 32.1" of snow in the last 17 days.
The search continues for a Kentucky couple who has been missing for more than five months.
Family members, friends and officials have been searching for Sandy and Larry Blanton from Johnson County since September 5th.
“We’re not finding anything or hearing anything. Nothing new has surfaced and we just can’t believe that two people disappear and no one sees or hears anything suspicious,” said Lois Fraley, the sister of the missing woman.
The couple's family members worry the case will turn cold which is what prompted them to take action.
They are now offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
The couple's son Willie and his girlfriend, Amanda, are both persons of interest in the case.
Both are currently in jail for drug-related charges.
“It’s difficult to believe that their own son did something. I don't know that he did but we can’t find anything else. He’s told too many different stories and none of them were true,” said Fraley.
Sandy's sister says all she wants is the truth about what actually happened the night Sandy and Larry disappeared.
